Investment:
A session fee of $200 will get you in the door and an investment of $600-$2100 will deck out your home with your family’s likeness all over the place. There is no minimum purchase.
Tangibles:
I love heirloom photo albums, the kind that your kids will peruse over and over again over several years (so will you). I love impressive wall galleries in unexpected spots like the kitchen or the mud room. I love updating all those random frames in your house or office with recent, lively photos of your kids. Grandma loves having recent photos of her grandkids, too. I delight in being able to offer all these high quality products to you.
What to wear:
Be your comfortable self. If that still confuses you, here are a few tips to consider:
-Creating a harmonious mix of colors is more interesting to the eye than dressing matchy-matchy (like everybody wearing white shirts with jeans)
-Avoid certain logos that could become outdated.
-Stripes look amazing in photographs.
-So do polka-dots.
-Make the best of your current wardrobe.
What to expect when you’re expecting… Amy Nieto to photograph you:
1) The Initial Consultation: We will both pick up the phone (because typing is hard) and chat for a little bit about your needs, your family, locations, the process and when can you expect to see your photos. The non-refundable session fee of $200 is paid by credit card over the phone. Afterwards, I will mail you a handy booklet that will further help you get the best out of our photoshoot.
2) The Portrait Session: we have fun for 60 to 90 minutes!
3) The Waiting: I typically photograph with film and often will receive my film back 1-2 weeks after our session.
4) The Ordering Session: In general, this will be scheduled 2-3 weeks after our portrait session. I arrive at your home with the fantastic edited images (and sweets!). This will be the first time you see the photos! Portrait collections offer significant savings over a la carte items and are only offered at this session. In short time, you will receive your goodies (and maybe even a little gift!).
If all of this sounds like your cup of tea, here is a handy phone number where you can reach me: 503-724-4900. Operators will be standing by with a cupcake in hand.
